Vitamin K2 action

K2Vit.Up is a dietary food that differs from foods intended for general consumption by high bioavailability and absorption of the active ingredient. Vitamin K comes in the form of phylloquinone u-K1 and menaquinone-K2. All K vitamins (and vitamin derivatives) exhibit oxidation-reduction properties.

The K2Vit.Up dietary supplement contains the optimal amount of a biologically active, organic compound in the form of vitamin K2.

Our preparation is intended for people who want to take care of their health. K2Vit.Up is a means of special medical use in states of increased demand for the active form of vitamin K - menaquinone.

Vitamin K has the following properties:

  • antihemorrhagic

  • antibacterial

  • anti-inflammatory

  • antifungal

  • painkillers

Vitamin K is involved in many physiological processes , including the formation of bone tissue - it has the ability to bind calcium ions. Thanks to supplementation, you protect your body by keeping your bones healthy and strong. The K2Vit.Up dietary supplement supports the proper course of the process of mineralization and formation of bone tissue.

How does vitamin K help?

Vitamin K is extremely important in the formation of prothrombin - a blood plasma protein produced in the liver, which is an important factor in the blood coagulation process. Vitamin K has an anti-hemorrhagic effect - it converts blood coagulation factors into forms that cause coagulation . Vitamin K2 supplementation may reduce excessively heavy menstrual bleeding.

The presence of menaquinone increases protection against calcifications that are dangerous to health and life, e.g. of blood vessels, leading to cardiovascular diseases: cardiac arrhythmias, atherosclerosis of blood vessels (atherosclerotic plaque formation), hypertension, myocardial insufficiency and death.

Vitamin K requirement

K2Vit.Up is a dietary supplement containing fat-soluble vitamin K2. Regular consumption of vitamin K helps keep bones strong and prevents bleeding. The dietary supplement was created for people who care about their health, proper diet and are physically active.

The vitamin preparation with biologically active vitamin K is indicated for people with too high levels of calcium, which has not been transported to the bone tissue. The demand for vitamin K increases with the simultaneous high supply of other fat-soluble vitamins: A and D.

Nutritional sources of vitamin K are green vegetables, i.e. spinach, broccoli, savoy cabbage, as well as vegetable oils and nuts. In products of animal origin, it is present in relatively small amounts, in: liver, butter, eggs and milk.

A proper, well-balanced diet provides vitamin K with food. Vitamin K is also synthesized by the bacterial flora of the gastrointestinal tract, therefore its administration is justified in the case of infants who lack a properly developed intestinal microflora.

Vitamin K2 dosage

K2Vit.Up guarantees optimal supplementation of valuable vitamin K2 in the form of capsules. One package provides 100 vitamin servings, thus ensuring over 3 months of supplementation. Our supplement is a well-tolerated source of vitamin K.

Vitamin K Deficiency Symptoms

Symptoms of vitamin K deficiency and excess are rare. The elderly and newborns are the most vulnerable to the insufficient amount of vitamin D to maintain health.

Vitamin K deficiencies may be associated with general malnutrition of the body and impaired absorption of nutrients (in cancer, in the course of liver diseases, obstruction of the bile ducts, in antibiotic therapy). Vitamin K2 deficiency increases the risk of osteoporotic bone fractures, calcification of blood vessels, petechiae and internal bleeding.

Taking vitamin K in excess for a long period of time should not result in harmful consequences.
