B12Vit.UP - dietary supplement with vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin). Contains sweeteners.
B12 VIT.UP is a dietary supplement with active, water-soluble vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin). Vitamin B12 plays an important role in many metabolic changes, and its presence in the diet contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, increasing energy.
Vitamin B12 is commonly called cobalamin, and is known by several other terms: methylcobalamin, cyanocobalamin, hydroxocobalamin, "red vitamin" or "anemia vitamin". It belongs to the group of corrinoids synthesized only by bacteria and some algae. The chemical structure of vitamin B12 is very complicated. It is the only vitamin containing a metal atom - cobalt.
The appropriate level of cobalamin in the body determines the maintenance of health. Deficiencies of vitamin B12 lead to disturbances in the work of many systems and the proper course of metabolic processes.
Physically active people - including athletes of endurance disciplines - can register an increase in muscle performance with the use of vitamin B12 and B6 supplementation. B vitamins are involved in intensifying the process of creating erythrocytes.
Vitamin B12, used alongside vitamin B6 and folic acid, inhibits the increase in the level of homocysteine in the blood - an amino acid that increases the risk of a cardiovascular incident.
Together with other B vitamins, vitamin B12 maintains normal energy metabolism - it participates in the release of energy from food in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. As an organic compound, it is necessary for the proper course of many physiological processes , including hematopoietic (formation of red blood cells, erythrocytes).
The presence of vitamin B12 is essential in the formation of white blood cells. Cobalamin regulates the metabolism of all cells - in particular the bone marrow. In higher doses, it is used in specific disease entities, e.g. anemia and polyneuritis.
Vitamin B12 – role:
reduction of tiredness (sedative effect)
improvement of memory and concentration
maintaining the efficiency of the nervous system
growth of body cells
prevention of anemia
supporting the functioning of the digestive tract
deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) synthesis
amino acid synthesis
bone marrow protein synthesis
Vitamin B12 contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism. Particularly physically active people should take care of its delivery. Cobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system and in maintaining the proper metabolism of homocysteine. Vitamin B12 reduces tension and stress.
Good sources of vitamin B12 are organ meats (liver), beef, pork, some fish, milk, eggs and aged cheeses. Vitamin B12 is worth supplementing, especially if you run the risk of its deficiency and adverse health effects. B12 VIT.UP is a dietary food for special medical purposes for dietary management in states of increased demand for vitamin B12.
Symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency:
inhibition of puberty
degenerative changes of the spinal cord
peripheral and central nervous system degeneration
